RED MERA VINTAGE

Early this year i created a new logo for my girlfriend's online clothing store, Red Mera Vintage. Maintaining the peacock theme, we wanted something that was a lot stronger typographically and more versatile in terms of placement and integration. After going through a bunch of designs we arrived at the one below.


Also did a redesign/streamline across the many RMV outlets (including the new  RMV Tumblr, which is looking fantastic. You must check that one out, great for inspiration). Click to go through to actual site...

MCA Zine Fair

Here's some photos from the fair, which was heaps fun!!!

We got there early and Shikha set up the table all nice.

So it was pretty chilled in the morning. The weather was terrible and i was wondering if anyone would come.

They came.


Overall a fun fun day. We sold a bunch and bought a heap of cool stuff (which i would like to do a post on soon if i get some time). i'll also be posting some online versions of some of the stuff i was selling over the next few days.

Sketch of the Day 17

Busy preparing for the MCA Zine Fair next month, aswell as putting new stuff together for Red Mera Vintage. I'm trying to write some new stuff for the Zine fair but i just can't seem to get started. Always the hardest part for me. Nevertheless i should have some cool stuff ready for it (it's on the 23rd May at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney), so come along if you can. I'm post some previews when i can.

Did this digital piece for Red Mera Vintage recently, first digital work i've done in ages so i've started messing around in that area again. It's fun!
