Been printing out some zines for the Queer Collaborations Fair Day tomorrow so if anyone is in the area come along. There'll be my stuff and some great Red Mera Vintage cards.

MCA Zine Fair

Here's some photos from the fair, which was heaps fun!!!

We got there early and Shikha set up the table all nice.

My stuff didn't look too bad either...

So it was pretty chilled in the morning. The weather was terrible and i was wondering if anyone would come.

They came.


Overall a fun fun day. We sold a bunch and bought a heap of cool stuff (which i would like to do a post on soon if i get some time). i'll also be posting some online versions of some of the stuff i was selling over the next few days.

Rusted Luck

Here is another Bakery Box. I have terrible hayfever and cannot stop sneezing. Still, i found some awesome old comics (in French) at the op shop today so it was worth it.

The MCA Zine Fair was great. I have photos and i'll post something up later, once i get around to reading some of the stuff. There was some fantastic stuff there, and i managed to get rid of a lot of mine aswell.

Now i better go and batten (?) down the hatches cause there's a cyclone or something on the way. According to the news.

I may have misheard it.

Poke #1 Preview!

Poke #1. A Tantalising Trio of Tales! 

Poke is a little anthology style zine i've put together for the Zine Fair tomorrow. A few comic strips & sketches. Gotta finish stapling these today for the big event tomorrow. Gonna have a bunch of other goodies too! 11am - 5pm at the MCA, level 1.

J is for Joker

Went a little crazy on this, there's pencils, charcoal, watercolours, ink and pastels in there. Little bit of colour tweaking in PS. Just messing around to get a good result.

Here's a sneak peak at a page from one of the short comic strips i'm working on for the Zine Fair. I'll be pretty much all of this week trying to get everything ready for that on sunday. We'll see how i do.

Now i'm going to bed cause it's frigging cold! Watching X-Files. Scully has brain cancer, it's terrible!

What have i been up to...

Well i've been sick with the flu the past few days and have barely gotten out of bed. That's been nice and annoying as there's only a week till the MCA Zine Fair, and i still have a fair bit of prep to do. It's coming along, slowly coming...

I've also been doing a bit of of digital work lately, which i haven't done in awhile...

And reading lots of comics and watching some movies. Blood Diamond is pretty insane. Here's an old sketch of the day to pass the time...

And now i must go and take photos for the next batch of vintage clothes to go up on Red Mera Vintage.
